Top Ten Tuesday (9): 2013 Debuts I Am Anticipating

Top Ten 2013 Debuts I'm Looking Forward to Reading

1. Some Quiet Place by Kelsey Sutton
-- July 8, 2013/Flux

I have to say the cover is what initially intrigued me about this book, but the plot sounds fascinating and original. I love the idea of emotions being visible and I have already read some wonderful reviews for this.

2. Belle Epoque by Elizabeth Ross
-- June 11, 2013/Delacorte BFYR

Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres and this time period is particularly intriguing. I cannot wait to read about Paris at this time. Plus, the plot seems extremely unique and interesting.

3. Truth or Dare by Jacqueline Green
-- May 14, 2013/Little, Brown BFYR

This sounds like it will be a creepy, mysterious, and intense debut. I've heard it compared to Pretty Little Liars, which is one of my favorite series.

4. Taken by Erin Bowman
-- April 16, 2013/HarperTeen

I have read a ton of dystopian books lately and rarely have they disappointed me. Taken sounds like it will be great, as well, especially since it is told from a male POV!

5. Cinders and Sapphires by Leila Rasheed
--January 22, 2013/Disney-Hyperion

Yay, a YA Downton Abbey? Count me in! Cinders and Sapphires looks like it will be drama-filled and romantic and I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy! Luckily, I won't have to wait long since it releases this month!

6. Vengeance Bound by Justina Ireland
-- April 2, 2013/Simon and Schuster BFYR

I love mythology and the way this book incorporates it sounds awesome! At first, I wasn't so sure about the cover, but I'm really liking it now.

7. Another Little Piece by Kate Caryas Quinn
-- June 11, 2013/HarperTeen

Wow, this looks like it is going to be intense! The summary does not give much away, so it got me even more interested. The cover is also gorgeous.

8. Dualed by Elsie Chapman
-- February 26, 2013/Random House BFYR

I have been dying to read this ever since I first read the summary sometime last year. Twins, murder, action, and romance? This sounds like a winner to me!

9. Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke
-- August 20, 2013/Dial

This sounds mysterious and frightening. The idea of falling in love with the Devil immediately peaked my interest and I can't wait to see how Tucholke pulls this all together.

10. The Nightmare Affair by Mindee Arnett
-- March 5, 2013/Tor Teen

I love books set at boarding schools and the fact that the main character is a Nightmare? Sounds exciting! Plus, there's romance, murder, and mystery. I can't wait to get my hands on this one!
