Review Books: I am currently accepting adult and young adult books for review. I enjoy historical fiction, nonfiction, thrillers, contemporary, fantasy, and more.
I do not accept self published books and only accept e-books if they are from Netgalley or Galley Grab.
If you're interested in me reviewing your novel, please send me an email with a short summary and any other necessary information.
I, unfortunately, can no longer guarantee a review for every book I receive, but I'll do my best. (February 20, 2011)
Reviews for ARCs will be posted as close to the release date as possible or in the months after. Reviews for finished copies may take longer. If there is a specific date you would like me to post the review, please let me know.
Interviews/Guest Blogs/Contests: I would be pleased to interview you on my blog. I normally send around 5 questions for author interviews and for guest posts, if there is a specific topic you'd like to talk about feel free to contact me, I'd love to work with you to set something up. Contests can be featured as part of the interview or can be posted at a separate time.
Review System: The top of my reviews feature info about the book and the source I obtained the review copy from. I include a cover image and summary, normally from Goodreads, and then my review. My reviews vary in length, but are normally 3-5 paragraphs and cover a variety of topics. The review closes with __ out of 5 stars.
My reviews are honest, but if I feel the book had too many negative aspects or I just couldn't finish it, no review will be posted.
Statistics: I started The Book Scout on July 31, 2009. The Book Scout has received over 500,000 page views and currently has 1,169 followers. *
