Waiting on Wednesday (54)

A Temptation of Angels by Michelle Zink

When her parents are murdered before her eyes, sixteen year-old Helen Cartwright finds herself launched into an underground London where a mysterious organization called the Dictata controls the balance of good and evil. Helen learns that she is one of three remaining angelic descendants charged with protecting the world’s past, present, and future. Unbeknownst to her, she has been trained her whole life to accept this responsibility. Now, as she finds herself torn between the angelic brothers protecting her and the devastatingly handsome childhood friend who wants to destroy her, she must prepare to be brave, to be hunted, and above all to be strong because temptation will be hard to resist, even for an angel.

Michelle Zink masterfully weaves historical fantasy with paranormal romance to create a gripping tale of love and betrayal.

Release date: March 20, 2012 (Dial Books for Young Readers)

I love Michelle's books and this one sounds just as dark and intriguing. I can't wait to read this!

  4. I still have to read her first series. I know, I'm so behind. :)

  5. I haven't read her first series but I LOVE this cover!

  6. Hi, hon! I don't usually comment on blogs but you've been a supporter for such a long time. I just wanted to say thank you for featuring TEMPTATION on WoW. Can't wait to share it with you!

  7. Thank you so much for reviewing this novel. I was a bullied kid, and I still get so angry every time I hear about a kid being bullied into suicide. I still have the scars of my high school years (both physical and emotional) and it's so important that everybody everywhere begins to not only realize how bad bullying has gotten, but that people need to DO something about it.

I love getting comments, so feel free to leave your thoughts :)
