Top Ten Tuesday (1)

Top Ten Sequels I'm Dying To Read

1. Renegade Magic by Stephanie Burgis
First Book: Kat, Incorrigible

I love historical fiction and when you throw in a fabulous heroine, feisty magic, and some sweet romance you have a winner. Kat, Incorrigible was on my TBR pile for way too long and I regretted not picking it up sooner. Now I'm dying to get my hands on a copy of the sequel to see what adventures Kat will have next.

2. Never Have I Ever by Sara Shepard
First Book: The Lying Game

Sara Shepard is, by far, one of my favorite authors. Her first series, Pretty Little Liars, is amazing and I recently read the start to her newest series and it was mysterious, creepy, and awesome! The Lying Game was a great start to what I'm sure will be a great new series, plus the TV show is a lot of fun. I'm eager to see what will be revealed in Never Have I Ever! Luckily it's already released and I own a copy- which means I can get started on it soon!

3. A Want So Wicked by Suzanne Young
First Book: A Need So Beautiful

Suzanne is such a diverse writer and I have loved every book of hers that I have had the chance to pick up. A Need So Beautiful was an emotionally draining and heartbreaking read and I'm anxious for the sequel to be released!

4. Perception by Kim Harrington
First Book: Clarity

A paranormal mystery? Yes, please! The first book completely won me over to Kim's writing and Clarity is an extremely likable main character.

5. Fever by Lauren DeStefano
First Book: Wither

Wow, wow, wow- Wither was such a wonderful debut and I devoured it. The ending was quite the cliffhanger and I'm eager to see what's next for all of the characters.

6. Wings of the Wicked by Courtney Allison Moulton
First Book: Angelfire

Angelfire was an intense and action-packed read that is one of my favorites of 2011. Ellie was a kick-butt main character and the romance was wonderfully done. I also love the covers of this series!

7. Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick
First Book: Hush, Hush

This book has been on my TBR pile for waaay too long- and I'm dying to read it! I really liked Hush, Hush and I'm eager to see what's next for Patch and Nora in Crescendo. Plus I really need to get caught up in time for Silence to be released!

8. Dark Goddess by Sarwat Chadda
First Book: The Devil's Kiss

Another sequel that has been on my TBR shelf for too much time. The first book in the series, The Devil's Kiss, was a very original and addicting read filled with action and plot twists. I'm eager to see what Sarwat has up his sleeve in the sequel!

9. Beautiful Days by Anna Godbersen
First Book: Bright Young Things

Anna's novels are always so alluring and mysterious. Although these books are historical fiction, they are packed full of as much drama, romance, and plot twists as Gossip Girl.

10. Cindy on a Mission by Kay Cassidy
First Book: The Cinderella Society

This isn't due to be released until late 2012, but I'm so excited to read it! This series is packed full of girl power and I've been looking forward to hearing news on this sequel since I first read The Cinderella Society.

  3. I didn't know there was a sequel to The Cinderella Society. I liked that book too.

I think Renegade Magic will be a cute book. I liked Kat, Incorrigible though I don't usually read MG fiction. It was a fun reading experience.

I've read Dark Goddess and really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the next one though I don't know when it will be published. Sarwat Chadda has another series in the works.

    Great list!
